This massive, really nice complex caters exclusively to wealthy Thai’s who cross the border to gamble because it’s illegal in Thailand. I’m fairly sure it also launders money for organized crime. We headed to the card room, and after being searched and checking in our guns, wandered into a scene out of a movie. I was the only white person in a room with about 200 Thai gamblers, probably 50 Cambodia staff, and Izzy. Everyone was playing Baccarat, which I have no idea how to play, so Izzy and I had to ask to open a blackjack table. We both lost about 25 dollars in about 30 minutes. After that, we headed to the pool to soak up the sun and drown our misfortune.
